HOW does it work?

We developed our H2H packages because one-off callouts are often costly and unpredictable. With our subscription-based cover, landlords can avoid surprise repair bills and get reliable, 24/7 support — all for a fixed monthly price.

🔧 How Your Monthly Allowance Works


As part of your H2H Repair Plan, the monthly fee you pay becomes your repair allowance. This allowance is used to cover the cost of general maintenance works, callouts, and materials — keeping your property in top condition without surprise bills.


📊 Breakdown of Standard Charges

🔹 Call-Out Charges (General Maintenance):

  • Up to 1.5 hours: £100.00
     
  • 1.5 hours to half day: £140.00
     
  • Half day to full day: £240.00
     

🔹 Out-of-Hours Callouts (after 5:30 PM / weekends / bank holidays):

  • 0 – 1 hours: £140.00
     
  • Each additional 30 minutes after 1.5 hours: £30.00 per half hour
     

🔹 Video Call Consultation:

  • £45.00 per issue
     

🔹 Materials:

  • 25% markup on the retail price (RRP) of items used

You choose the Swift Cover at £20.00 per month, which gives you a £120.00 monthly repair allowance.


🛠️ Scenario:

You notice the mastic sealant around your shower is failing and water is leaking onto the floor. You contact H2H Repairs, and we send out an engineer.


📋 Job Summary:

  • Engineer is on-site for 1 hour and 10 minutes
     
  • This falls within the up to 1.5-hour bracket, so the labour cost = £100.00
     
  • Materials (sealant) cost = £15.00
     

🔹 Total job cost: £115.00


💰 Allowance Usage:

  • Your monthly allowance = £120.00
     
  • We deduct the job total = £115.00
     
  • Remaining balance for the month = £5.00


We’re committed to keeping you fully informed about your allowance at all times. After each visit, you’ll receive an update on your remaining balance within 48 hours. We’ll also provide a summary of your current allowance before any new appointment is confirmed.

If, during a visit, it becomes clear that the repair will exceed your monthly allowance, we won’t proceed without your full approval. Our engineer will explain the situation in detail, provide a transparent breakdown of any additional costs, and give you the option to continue or pause the work — ensuring you remain in full control of your budget.

Should you choose to proceed beyond your package allowance, we will issue a separate invoice for the agreed additional balance.
